Vamps chose "Love Addict" as the first song because they felt it symbolized the whole album. They try not to make the song too fast because they want people to be able to dance with it, and add "edgy guitar."

"Time Goes By" was originally created when both worked on Hyde 2006's album Faith , but they felt that refrain was not quite interesting. Just after listening to it again for this single, K.A.Z came up with a new idea.

The limited edition of the single comes with a DVD containing music videos of the song title and its creation.
