Kimberly Yee (born February 23, 1974) is an American politician and member of the Arizona Senate Republican representing District 20 since January 14, 2013. Yee served consecutively in the Arizona State Legislature from January 10, 2011 to January 14 2013 in Arizona House of Representatives District 10 seats. On November 29, 2017, he announced his candidacy for the position of Arizona State Treasurer.

Yee holds a bachelor's degree in English and political science from Pepperdine University and an MA in public administration from Arizona State University.

Political career
Yee works for California Governor Pete Wilson and Arnold Schwarzenegger. He was then director of communications at the Arizona State Treasurer's office. At the recommendation of Governor Jan Brewer, Yee was appointed by the Maricopa Regional Supervisory Board to replace Republican Rep. Doug Quellan after he was overthrown for violating the Net Election Limits.
Yee sponsors a bill that would make it illegal for minors to have a water pipe.
In 2012, Yee introduced HB 2838, a plan that would prohibit fetal abortion over 20 weeks. While the bill was stalled at the committee, Yee used "all the changes" to reincarnate the law proposed as HB 2036. The bill passed Arizona House and the Senate and signed into law on April 12, 2012.
In 2014, Yee blocked a study that would examine PTSD treatment with medical marijuana. The completion of this study was questioned as the principal investigator, Dr. Sue Sisley, has been dismissed.
Yee is a speaker invited to the 2016 National Convention of the Republic.

2010 Representative of Weiers placed first, Yee is second with 6,925 votes, and Quelland Representative occupies the third position ; in the November 2, 2010 election, Yee occupied the first seat with 19,485 votes and the Weiers Representative occupied the second seat in front of the Democratic nominations of former Representatives Jackie Thrasher and Aaron Jahneke.References
